Alpacas

The Alpaca is a domesticated species of South American camelid. It resembles a small llama in superficial appearance.
Alpacas are kept in herds that graze on the level heights of the Andes of Ecuador, southernPeru, northern Bolivia, and northern Chile at an altitude of 3500 to 5000 meters above sea-level, throughout the year. Alpacas are considerably smaller than llamas, and unlike them are not used as beasts of burden but are valued only for their fiber. Alpacas only have fleece fibers, not woolen fibers, used for making knitted and woven items much as sheep’s wool is. These items include blankets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, a wide variety of textiles and ponchos in South America, and sweaters, socks and coats in other parts of the world. The fiber comes in more than 52 natural colors as classified in Peru, 12 as classified in Australia and 22 as classified in America. Alpacas and llamas differ in that llamas have banana shaped ears and long tails and alpacas have straight ears and stubby tails. Aside from these differences, llamas are on average 1-2 feet taller and proportionally bigger than alpacas.

Pygmy Marmostes

Pygmy Marmostes are the drawf monkeys. They are new monkeys native to the rainforests. They are one of the smallest primates and they are the smallest monkey in the world. They have a body length between 12 and 15 cms, a tail length between 17 and 23 cms and they weigh between 100 and 125 g.
Their fur is tawny in colour and they have ringed tails that are at least as long as their body. Much of their time is spent up in the trees and their colouring provides them with camouflage.
They have long, forward turned incisors that are the same length as their canines. They use their specially adapted teeth to gnaw into the bark of trees so they can feed on the sap.
They move quadrupedally and are very agile, active monkeys that are difficult to observe in the wild as they move so quickly through the trees.

Shoebill

Shoebill is a large headed strock and its bill looks like to shape of whale so it is called Whalehead, is a very large bird related to the storks. It derives its name from its massive shoe-shaped bill.
The Shoebill is a very large bird, averaging 1.2 metres tall, 5.6 kilograms and a 2.33 metres wingspan. The adult is mainly grey while the juveniles are browner. It lives in tropical east Africa in large swamps from Sudan to Zambia.
This species was only discovered in the 19th century when some skins were brought to Europe. It was not until years later that live specimens reached the scientific community. However, the bird was known to both ancient Egyptians and Arabs. There are Egyptian images depicting the Shoebill, while the Arabs referred to the bird as abu markub, which means one with a shoe, a reference to the bird’s distinctive bill.
Shoebills feed in muddy waters, preying on lungfish and similar fish. They nest on the ground and lay 2 eggs.

Whales

Whales have sleek, streamlined bodies that move easily through the water. They are the only mammals, other than manatees.Whales are that mammals live their entire lives in the water, and the only mammals that have adapted to life in the open oceans.
The biggest whale is the blue whale, which grows to be about 94 feet (29 m) long - the height of a 9-story building. These enormous animals eat about 4 tons of tiny krill each day, obtained by filter feeding through baleen. Adult blue whales have no predators except man. These are the biggest mammals live till now.It is said that whales sometimes attacks ships but actually their size is so big that they are playing with floating ship but it is so big that it helps to shrunk the ship and make the accident of it.

Dolphins

Dolphins are marine animals. They vary in size 1.4 feet to 30 feet, and weighs from 40 kg to some 40 tonnes.Dolphins are among the most intelligent animals, and their often friendly appearance and seemingly playful attitude have made them popular.Dolphins are descendants of terrestrial mammals.Like other mammals, dolphins also give birth to their descent.Their body are streamlines as modified to become marine, their body parts such as limbs are modified into fins.
Most dolphins have acute eyesight, both in and out of the water, and they can hear frequencies ten times or more above the upper limit of adult human hearing. They make ultrasonic sounds for echolocation. Membership in pods is not rigid; interchange is common. However, dolphins can establish strong social bonds; they will stay with injured or ill individuals, even helping them to breathe by bringing them to the surface if needed. There are many stories telling about friendship between human and dolphins,There are many folkstory abot dolphin saving from sharks and whales.

Aye-aye (lemur)

It is the most amazing tiny mammals that feed on nectar of flowers. It is found in Madagscar.Aye-aye combines rodent-like teeth and a special thin middle finger to fill the same ecological niche as a woodpecker. It is the world's largest nocturnal primate, and is characterized by its unusual method of finding food; it taps on trees to find larvas, then gnaws holes in the wood and inserts its narrow middle finger to pull the grubs out.The original meaning of the name Aye-aye has been lost, as the originating language is extinct. There is a hypothesis that the word "aye aye" signifies simply a cry of alarm to alert others to the presence of this animal. It often look like bats, but are different, they can see and can fly very well, too.
It was nearly extinct, people of Madagscar believe that it is the symbol of death so they didnot preserved it,it was once extinct but after 7 years it was rediscovered.

Many people generally dont know about liger's it is the hybrid cross between male lion and female tiger. It gets its behaviour from its parents.Ligers enjoy swimming which is a characteristic of tigers and are very sociable like lions.Ligers exist only in captivity because the habitat of the parental species do not overlap in the wild. They cannt survive in wild nature,it is somehow harmless,it is the biggest species of tiger, known. It is erroneously believed that ligers continue to grow throughout their lives due to hormonal issues. It is found that its weight have reach around 900kg. It may be that they simply grow far more during their growing years and take longer to reach their full adult size. Further growth in shoulder height and body length is not seen in ligers over 6 years old, same as both lions and tigers.
Though they are carnivourous but they are believed to be harmless, they cannt hunt untill they are hurt, but when they are hurt they are very dangerous.
